We make fridge Seals that go around fridge doors, seals for all sorts of make and model fridges, either domestics, commercial or industrial.
There are two components, PVC Compound and Magnetic Inserts and lots of ingenuity.
PVC Compound in pellets form is fed into a machine called "Extruders", similar to meat grinders, and forced or extruded out through a die or former with a powerful motor and at very high temperatures, generated by heating elements wrapped around the outside of the "extruder" body or barrel, to form different shapes or profiles of gaskets for different fridges.
Of course the PVC gasket that is extruded from the "extruder" has to be controlled by a haul-off machine that runs the gasket through cooling troughs, filled with water at a consistent speed that will also determine the size and thickness of the gasket.
The gasket and magnetic inserts are guillotined into required lengths. We then proceed to insert the magnetic strip into the magnetic compartment of the gasket and join the corners with specially designed welding machines.
Then the seal is ready to be fitted onto your fridge door, either by yourself or a qualified fridge mechanic.
